This week we are learning about ordering adjectives in sentences by following the rules. Additionally, there will be a spelling quiz on Friday!This week, Georgia and Bulldogs will be learning about how illustrations can convey mood in a story for our Reading skill.
This week we will be learning about text features in non fiction text. Students will be able to identify different text features and how they help when understanding content. There is a video below for additional help. In writing, we are working through the writing process and beginning to edit a published piece of writing. I can't wait to read their final drafts! Georgia Grammar: This we will be learning about dialogue and how to correctly use quotation marks in sentences. Bulldog Grammar: This week we will be learning about Pronouns. Students will be able to replace nouns with subject and object pronouns. This week Bulldogs will be learning about Abstract Nouns in grammar, and continuing comparing and contrasting in reading. Students will be developing paragraphs comparing and contrasting two texts using evidence based terms in their writing. Watch the video below for some additional explanation of skill.
