As we begin editing our writing and looking for ways to improve our writing, we will be reviewing using dialogue and quotation marks in grammar.This week we will be learning about main idea and supporting details. Students will practice reading passages and will identify the main idea of the passage and justify with supporting details.This week we will continue to learn about Point of View, or POV, as our reading skill. Students will be identifying POV of two stories and justifying with evidence from the text. This week we will be learning about subjects and predicates. Students will be able to identify the "naming" part of the sentence (subject) and the "telling" (predicate) part of the sentence.We are continuing to learn about ordering adjectives in sentences. See last week's post for a review video!This week, our reading skill will be learning about different Point of View, or POV. Students will be able to distinguish their POV from the author's by citing evidence from the text.
